Mountbatten House is an
Assisted Living home for men and women in a unique home like setting
just a short drive from Houston Texas. We provide cost-effective,
quality long-term care in a loving and secure atmosphere. Temporary
short-term care (respite) is also available. Some seniors definitely don't need to be in an assisted living home, but they do need assistance with the activities of daily living. We know that just a bit of help with these things makes a big difference with the quality of life.

A Place to Gather Near the waterways just outside Houston Texas a lovingly tendered memorial rose garden welcomes you upon your arrival. Large grounds are beautifully landscaped with mature shade trees and a circular path. A view of two courtyards is enjoyed from the common area. The Home is cozy and comfortably furnished. There are two spacious and sunny living areas, one with TV and VCR where most of the residents gather. The smaller, more intimate living area is peaceful and used for relaxing, crafts, games, and visiting with family and friends. All of this to make the assisted living facility feel like home.

About Us Mountbatten House is an assisted living community located near Houston, Texas that provides long-term care and short-term care. Mountbatten House is a nonprofit facility financed through rent from residents, fund raising by the Daughters of the British Empire (D.B.E.), and personal contributions and memorials The Daughters of the British Empire is a philanthropic organization whose purpose is to support and raise money to help senior citizens in need that require assisted living. They also contribute to various charitable organizations.

Our Rooms There are twenty-four individually climate-controlled rooms with emergency call buttons and a wash basin/vanity. Each room shares a bathroom with the adjoining room. Furnishing is to be provided by the resident with the exception of a twin mattress. Rooms have modified vanities and bathrooms for wheelchair access. |

Qualifications for Admission Mountbatten House is a Type A Assisted Living Home. There is no fee to apply for admission. A prospective resident must be able to meet the following criteria:

Services and Programs Services Mountbatten House just outside of Houston, Texas is dedicated to providing the most fulfilling experience possible in an assisted living facility. This is accomplished through the many services and all the tremendous amenities offered as part of our senior living community. Services and Amenities Three full nutritious meals are supplied daily. Weekly laundry and daily housekeeping are provided at no additional cost. Twenty-four-hour staffing is provided; medication management by a certified medication technician is available as needed.
